Chili With Ground Beef and Crumbled Wasa
INGREDIENTS (4 Servings)
4 pieces Wasa Sourdough Crispbread
½ pound ground beef
1 large onion, diced
2 cups black beans
1 15 ounce can tomato puree
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups water
DIRECTIONS
In a large saucepan, sauté diced onion in olive oil for about 3 minutes. Add meat and cook through about 5 minutes. Add the beans and let them soften for a couple of minutes. Add black pepper, cumin and chili powder and cook for 2 minutes. Pour tomato puree and water and cook for 25 minutes, covered. Add salt and sugar. Serve topped with crumbled Wasa.
