Feta and Tomato Bruschetta on Wasa

INGREDIENTS

1 piece Wasa Multi Grain Crispbread
½ plum tomato, diced
1 ounce feta cheese, diced
Black pepper, oregano and salt to taste

DIRECTIONS

In a bowl combine cheese with tomato, olive oil and oregano. Season it with salt and pepper to taste and place on Wasa cracker.

Feta cheese is a good source of calcium and of the B vitamin riboflavin. Don't forget the olive oil; it’s rich in good-for-you monounsaturated fat.

TIPS

  1. For some additional color, layer the tomatoes and feta cheese over a few pieces of baby spinach leaves.
  2. This recipe also tastes great when mozzarella or goat cheese is substituted for the feta.
