Margherita Pizza on Wasa

INGREDIENTS

1 piece Wasa Sourdough Crispbread
2 slices fresh mozzarella
2 slices plum tomato
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 leaf basil
Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Slice the tomato and the mozzarella and place on Wasa Crispbread. Give 20 seconds in the microwave or a minute under the broiler. Drizzle with oil, salt and pepper, and garnish with basil.

TIPS

  1. Try part-skim mozzarella for a lower fat version. This will save you 2g of fat, but will still provide 7g of protein.
  2. If you don't have fresh tomato available, try making this by spreading with 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, which will give you 20% of the daily value for vitamin C. Or use 1 to 2 tablespoons of chunky salsa for a Mexican-style pizza.
