Gluten Free French Onion Soup

Ingredients:

1 slice
1 tablespoon

1/4 cup
1 teaspoon

1/2 cup
Wasa Gluten Free Sesame & Sea Salt
butter
yellow onion, sliced
red wine
worcestershire sauce
vegetable stock
gruyere cheese, shredded

Directions:

HEAT butter in saucepan until melted, then add onion
CARAMELIZE onion until soft and golden brown (about 20 minutes)
SEASON with salt and pepper, and add red wine
ADD worcestershire sauce and vegetable stock
BRING to a boil, and reduce to simmer for 20 minutes
SLICE cracker in halves and top with shredded cheese
BROIL crackers on high 3 minutes, or until bubbly
LADLE soup into bowls and top with crispbread, add any additional pieces on plate
